That deer was ''swimming'' in the pool? Really? How about drowning. People are so darn self centered. We humans are encroaching, encroaching, encroaching on natural habitats and we have the nerve to feel inconvenienced and offended by the animals who were here first. Do you really take it personally when a helpless animal falls into a pool and can't get out? How about when an animal needs to eat to survive? That's a personal sleight too? View Comment

Beautiful wall in the photo! I wish I had known of Mr. Pighills 6 years ago when I was trying to have my crumbling farmers walls 'restacked'. I spoke with several wall builders who would not even consider making a dry wall. I finally found someone to do it but he did it grudgingly. I am amazed by the popularity of the concrete filled walls. They seem to be directly opposed to the New England charm of our most beautiful colonial and farm-style homes. View Comment
